| Instansi | Global warming and climate change has been continuous issue for more than two decades. Rainfall deficits and droughst are projected to become more extreme due to climate change particularly in the tropics. Weather Modification or cloud seeding is one alternative of adaptations the climate changes in Indonesia. Work Packet Weather Prediction in FY 2009 has done an cloud observation using mobile weather radar over Gede-Pangrango Mountain area. The life cycle of cumulud cloud is about 1 to 2 hours. Efective range of radar observation below 100 km distance. |
