243Evaluasi Kandungan Klorida (Cl-) & Daya Hantar Listrik (Dhl) Air Tanah Pada Sistem AkuiferEvaluation of chloride (Cl-) content and electric conductivity (EC) of ground water in aquifer system is one method to identify salt water movement in aquifer system, which occurred as a result of changes in hydraulic equilibrium which cause by temporary variation of natural recharges and pumping of ground water at many layered aquifers.Salt water movement in Jakarta aquifer system is evaluated based on mapping of chloride content at 500 mg/L and EC at 1500 m mhos/cm in many bored well during period of 1990 ? 2000. In the beginning chloride content and EC is in value only and with the addition of attribute data, namely coordinate, it could be used as input data. By using software namely SURF, the above input data is simulate to have a contour map of chloride and EC. 244Evaluasi Kondisi Lingkungan Perairan Kawasan Pulau Abang, Galang BaruEvaluation of the water quality status at Abang Island Region was conducted by using the STORET and Canbera Similarity Indeks during Mei, June and October 2006. This analysis result shows that the water quality within this region was within the range of good to moderate. This condition indicats that the water quality status is still suitable to support the marine biotic life. 254Distribusi Substrat di dalam Fixed Bed Reactor ( FBR )Fixed Bed Reactor was the biological wastewater treatment reactor that was one of the Cakung Slaughterhouse (RPH Cakung) wastewater treatment. Biological wastewater treatment process in principle was process use of the microorganism to degrade the wastewater pollutant, where the wastewater will be changed into gas and the particle bio-solid that enabled to be sediment. The capability of the microorganism degrading this pollutant was influenced by various factor, some among them were the distribution of the substrate (microorganism group) in the reactor. The distribution of this substrate could be known by measuring the value of pH and organic content as Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) or Total Solid (TTS). Considering the importance of the parameter then must be keep so that both of them, did not exceed limits that were allowed in the FBR operation. This paper was discussed by the condition for the distribution of the substrate in various hydraulic retention time (HRT). Analysis was held for the operation with the up-flow system. Results of the research could be known that the value of the pH and TS in various HRT relatively constant, that is between 6.93 ? 7.15 (for the pH) and 0.32% - 0.56% (for TS). This value is still in limits that were allowed. This technology includes flood early warning system and weather modification technology for flood prevention. In this study, flood is defined as flood caused by high intensity and long duration rainfall. Early warning system is constructed by accurate climate prediction, firstly. Upon accurate climate prediction, accurate weather prediction must be produced. During predicted extreme weather, cloud development must be monitored continuously to be informed as early warning to citizens. Information should be distributed using television network to be visually understood. The next step is flood prevention using weather modification technology. Maritime clouds over Java sea and continent clouds exist over out of Jakarta catchment area (JCA) which move into JCA have to be seeded in order to be rainfall as soon as possible. Flood that has occured in Jakarta in 27 January - 2 February 2002 was a result of heavy rain and impact of over discharge streams within its catchment area. Furthermore, occurence of low air pressure around northern Australia and Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) around Java Sea up to Banda Sea, has driven moists in the Asia into the area. Precipitation resulting flood is a return period about 1 to 1000. In Ciliwung watershed, mean rainfall of 142,5 mm/day and return period of about 100 years.
